Main Street Skowhegan Initiates Branding Activities

Main Street Skowhegan has hired Arnett Muldrow & Associates to conduct a branding and marketing resource visit to the community. The purpose of the effort is to create a consistent image package for the Main Street and its partners to use to continue to build community pride, recruit investment to the community, and market Skowhegan to visitors.  Arnett Muldrow & Associates, Ltd. of Greenville, South Carolina has completed branding and marketing programs for over 200 communities in twenty-five states including several New England Communities.

The marketing and branding resource visit for Main Street Skowhegan will begin November 1st with a round of meetings with a tour of the community, and a series of four round table meetings with various stakeholder groups.  The public is invited to share their thoughts on the marketing image for Skowhegan at Tewksbury Hall at 5:30 p.m.  The intensive process is designed to immerse the project team in Skowhegan to provide a marketing and branding plan in a very short time frame.

The project team will then spend the following day working on design concepts that will be presented to the public at Tewksbury Hall at 6:00 p.m.  The marketing and branding initiative is a collaborative effort of Skowhegan and Somerset Economic Development, Redington Fairview General Hospital, The Skowhegan Area Chamber of Commerce, Franklin Savings, York Signs, The Bankery, Russakoff Jewelers and led by Main Street Skowhegan.
