walkwayEach committee is one aspect of the Four Point economic development tool for revitalizing downtown. All committees meet at the MSS office on 93B Water Street. Economic Restructuring Committee: seeks to expand the economic condition of the downtown by supporting existing businesses, identifying new market opportunities, and stimulating investment in the downtown. ER Committee is chaired by Rosie Bradle and meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm.

Design Committee: is a catalyst approach to improve the physical appearance and function of the downtown through introducing new ideas and techniques to property owners by rehabilitating historic buildings, supporting new construction through long-term design management planning. Design Committee is chaired by Doreen Poulin.

Assisted the town with its CDBG downtown projects including:

  • decorated streetlights
  • facade program,
  • green spaces,
  • pedestrian crosswalks,
  • benches and banners

Promotion Committee: seeks to collectively market the downtown as a destination for local citizens,shoppers, and potential investors. Promotion Committee ia chaired by Amber Lambke and meets the - and - Monday of the month at 7am.
