22nd Annual Holiday Stroll
December 5 and 6, 2014 in Downtown Skowhegan
Holiday Stroll 2014 is a two-day event that has been a tradition in Skowhegan for over 20 years. It starts with a holiday parade through downtown Friday evening and continues Saturday morning-afternoon with lots of free activities and treats throughout and near downtown, including pictures with Santa!

Friday

Holiday Parade!

  • 7:00 PM - Starts on Elm St, heads south on Madison Ave to
    Water St, and ends at North Ave

The Bankery, 87 Water St

  • Serving free hot cocoa before and after the parade

Skowhegan Free Public Library, 9 Elm St

  • 10AM-6PM - Holiday Bazaar, Bake, and Book Sale

Country Crow Primitives, 61 Water St

  • Open until 8PM - Free Gift Wrapping, in store stroll treats


Saturday Morning and Afternoon

Local Gift Basket Fundraiser
These convenient baskets of local gifts will soon be ready to purchase at the Skowhegan Fleuriste , Country Crow Primitives , and The Children's Cottage . All proceeds support the work Main Street Skowhegan does to promote, beautify, and strengthen downtown.

Children's Gift Basket ,$35 will feature a stuffed animal from Lynette's Cards & Gifts, Lynne Plourde's The Dump Man's Treasure from The Children's Cottage, a hand-crafted apron from Crafty Creations, a small moose cookie cutter from Country Crow Primitives, and Maine Grains oats.

Adult Gift Basket, $50 will feature Maine Grains flour, ornaments and a large moose cookie cutter from Country Crow Primitives, pizza sauce from the Pickup Cafe, pottery bowls from P&C Potter, Skowhegan Library cook book, and hand towels from River Roads Gallery.

Directions

All Holiday Stroll events happen in and near downtown Skowhegan, where US Routes 2 and 201 come together. From I-95 North or South, take exit 133 toward Skowhegan/Fairfield and follow US Route 201 north into downtown Skowhegan.
