23rd Annual Holiday Stroll
December 4 and 5, 2015 in Downtown Skowhegan
Holiday Stroll 2015 is a two-day event that has been a tradition in Skowhegan for over 20 years. It starts with a holiday parade through downtown Friday evening and continues Saturday morning-afternoon with lots of free activities and treats throughout and near downtown, including pictures with Santa!

Friday 2014

Holiday Parade!

  • 7:00 PM - Starts on Elm St, heads south on Madison Ave to
    Water St, and ends at North Ave

The Bankery, 87 Water St

  • Serving free hot cocoa before and after the parade

Skowhegan Free Public Library, 9 Elm St

  • 10AM-6PM - Holiday Bazaar, Bake, and Book Sale

Saturday Morning and Afternoon 2014

Tewksbury Hall (behind the Federated church on the Island)

  • 8-10AM - Breakfast With Santa
  • 8-10AM - Ornament Craft Activity hosted by the Skowhegan Area Middle School Council

Hight Chevrolet, 29 Madison Ave

  • 9:00-1:00 Crafts
  • 9:00-1:00 Hip Hop Dance Classes every half hour
  • 10:00-1:00 Bike giveaway- Two bikes will be given away each hour

Skowhegan Free Public Library, 9 Elm St

  • 10:00-2:00 Holiday Bazaar, Bake, and Book Sale
  • 11:30-12:30 Buster B. Concert: holiday songs from around the world and book giveaway
  • 10:30-1:00 Yummy snacks

    All Holiday Stroll events happen in and near downtown Skowhegan, where US Routes 2 and 201 come together. From I-95 North or South, take exit 133 toward Skowhegan/Fairfield and follow US Route 201 north into downtown Skowhegan.
