22nd Annual Holiday Stroll
December 5 and 6, 2014 in Downtown Skowhegan
Holiday Stroll 2014 is a two-day event that has been a tradition in Skowhegan for over 20 years. It starts with a holiday parade through downtown Friday evening and continues Saturday morning-afternoon with lots of free activities and treats throughout and near downtown, including pictures with Santa!

See the tentative schedule below and check back often for more activities are forthcoming!


Holiday Parade!

  • 7:00 PM - Starts on Elm St, heads south on Madison Ave to
    Water St, and ends at North Ave

The Bankery

  • Serving free hot cocoa before and after the parade

Skowhegan Free Public Library

  • 10AM-6PM - Holiday Bazaar, Bake, and Book Sale

Country Crow Primitives

  • Open through 8PM - Free Gift Wrapping, In Store Stroll Treats

Saturday Morning and Afternoon

Tewksbury Hall (behind the Federated church on the Island)

  • 8-10AM - Breakfast With Santa

Hight Chevrolet

  • 9:00-1:00 Crafts
  • 9:00-1:00 Hip Hop Dance Classes every half hour
  • 10:00-1:00 Bike Giveaway- Two bikes will be given away each hour

Skowhegan Free Public Library

  • 10:00-2:00 Holiday Bazaar, Bake, and Book Sale
  • 10:30-1:00 Christmas "Craft"ernoon: Free Holiday crafts
  • 10:30-12:30 Buster B. Concert: Holiday songs from around the world

Local Gift Basket Fundraiser
These convenient baskets of local gifts will soon be ready to purchase at the Skowhegan Fleuriste, Country Crow Primitives, and The Children's Cottage. All proceeds support the work Main Street Skowhegan does to promote, beautify, and strengthen downtown.

Children's Gift Basket ,$35 will feature stuffed animals, book, hand-crafted apron, Somerset Grist Mill oats, and more!

Adult Gift Basket, $50 will feature Somerset Grist Mill flour, ornaments from Country Crow Primitives, a large moose cookie cutter, kitchen items, and more!

All Holiday Stroll events happen in and near downtown Skowhegan, where US Routes 2 and 201 come together. From I-95 North or South, take exit 133 toward Skowhegan/Fairfield and follow US Route 201 north into downtown Skowhegan.
