Economic Restructuring Committee: means helping existing downtown businesses expand and recruit new businesses to respond to today’s market. Main Street helps convert unused space into productive property and sharpen the competitiveness of business enterprises.

2008 Thomas College to Conduct Downtown Business Survey
Starting in January Thomas College business school will be working with Main Street Skowhegan conducting a survey of the downtown businesses. The purpose of the survey is to provide feedback to MSS of the businesses concerns, and their general overview of the MSS program. The survey results will be completed in May.
2007 Thomas College Conducts Downtown Consumer Survey Four seniors in the Thomas College Business School have completed an indepth consumer survey of the Skowhegan trade area. The survey focused on the publics perceptions and shopping habits of Downtown Skowhegan. See the results for yourself!
